After Cyprus, France, Canada and Spain, the fifth symposium “Mathematical Working Space” (http://etm5.web.uowm.gr/en/) was held in Greece, in the faculty of Pedagogy of Florina, University of Western Macedonia. It is an international gathering of research on mathematics education about the theoretical model developed by Alain Kuzniak.
The limited strength allows precise scientific exchanges and close the concerns of participants from Europe – Cyprus, France, Greece, Spain – and of America – Canada, Chile, Mexico. The Doctoral and Master students, enjoyed advice and comments from experts researchers of the field, which constitutes an important moment in the formation of these young researchers.
The organization was very efficient and flexible giving the symposium ETM5 a friendly atmosphere favorable to work in a setting perfectly suited, giving the opportunity for participants to experience the Hellenic hospitality and culture.
